I don't have a cousin that works for Nike, but I do have a cousin that works for Anheuser-Busch. So I can't help with your winter weather woes, but I can help with your post-race "refueling". We all know that you'd rather have beer than a shirt anyway. :)

The zip sides are an awesome idea. With all the ideas you two have (i.e., glasses, MP3, Garmin) you should totally be rich.
If nothing else,....like the shoes, you should be well dressed! :o)

Maybe you should be a consultant??? THEN I could be your 'test' person. I'll be the slow & tester that gets very hot, but has to stay in out in the elements longer due to her slowness!!!

I'm just throwing that out there, in case you end up working for NIKE & wanna make me a new far away BFF; I pay for postage :o)

All this Nike-lovin' talk is making me feel bad. I work five minutes away from the Nike World Headquarters (they always capitalize it like that) and the campus is a beautiful place to walk at lunchtime -- not that I take lunch since I'm glued to my desk all day without a break, which just proves what a fool I am someone please help me I cannot find where I put the period that I need to stop this sentence from running on and on, unlike me, and I have to find a way to make it stop!
Whew; that's better. Run-on sentences: the kind of exercise no one needs.

Oh I heart Nike too! I used to believe it was overpriced crap. Not anymore. Their stuff gets me out the door in the freezing weather. And yes, where is spring already?

Candis, I am SO with you! People don't understand how it is that I can be warm & toasty running outside pre-dawn when it's 18 degrees. I've never had Accelerade freeze *yet*, but my water bottle has frozen.

One tip for other fashionistas like myself - the thrift stores have AMAZING workout clothes for just a few bucks each. I can't stand to go into a retail store and pay $30 - $50 for a technical shirt or pants when I can get it for $4.98 at the thrift!

Ever notice that the better you look, the faster you run? LOL
